Entirely Shiraz, this fruit was picked specifically for rosé.
Made in the Provencale style: whole bunch crushed, into the basket press, pressed and let to wild ferment in three to four year old French barriques leaving to lay in barrel for nine months.
Barrel stirred for texture and mouth feel. Light crimson copper hue in the glass. Subtle oak with savoury quince notes, berry fruits and fresh acid giving it a clean dry finish.
The Golden Ball is located in North East Victoria within the Geographical Wine Indication of the Beechworth Wine Region.
